Dr. Gregory Christensen

Dr. Gregory Christensen grew up in Waterloo, IA and graduated from West High School in 1984. He attended the University of Iowa, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1988. After 6 years at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, Dr. Christensen returned home to Waterloo with a Masters of Science and Certificate of Orthodontics and Dental Facial Orthopedics. He has practiced orthodontics in Northeast Iowa since 1994.

Dr. Christensen and his wife Dani have five children: Ashlyn, Ben, Seth, Andrew, and Anna. The family enjoys church activities, traveling, music, tennis, golf and Hawkeye Sports.

Dr. Michael Freeseman

Dr. Michael Freeseman grew up in Ackley, IA and graduated from Ackley-Geneva High School. He attended Iowa State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology and Biology in 1990. Dr. Freeseman then spent 4 years studying at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Next, he earned a Masters of Science and Certificate of Orthodontics and Dental Facial Orthopedics following an additional 2 years in orthodontic residency at the University of Iowa. Soon after, Dr. Freeseman moved to Waterloo and has been practicing in Northeast Iowa since 1996.

Dr. Freeseman and his wife Traci have two children, a daughter named Taylor and a son named Blake. He enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors and woodworking.

Dr. Andrew Richter

Dr. Richter was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa and is the grandson of Dr. Sam Christensen, one of the original founders of the practice. A graduate of Waterloo West High School, Andy then spent ten years in Iowa City earning his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees, and his Master of Science and Certificate in Orthodontics. 

Dr. Richter was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society, and served as chief resident during his Orthodontic residency. Dr. Richter is a board-certified orthodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
 
When he isn’t perfecting smiles he enjoys playing golf and tennis, attending Iowa football and basketball games, and spending time up north at the lake with his family.
